| In an effort to restore much of the original Donald Ross design, this course undewent reconstruction by Ron Pritchard in 2000. The fairways and greens are now all bentgrass, and most of the bunkers have been redesigned. This course features large, undulating greens and tree-lined fairways. There are several sand bunkers in the design, and water comes into play on the 6th hole. The course signature hole is #8, a 447-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot from an elevated tee, then an approach shot to a multi-tiered, small green that is guarded on both sides by bunkers. |
